Malcolm Zammit
I am Malcolm, final year mechanical engineering student. I'm looking at this as a new venture in my years of student involvement, and an interesting challenge to quite an extent. Together with the constant support of my team, I am committed in pointing UESA to an ever better direction. The organisation has already made notable improvements, which have also been recognised on a European scale. This upcoming year, we are looking at that, and further beyond, to continue delivering the best quality support to engineering students. The new team is fresh, energetic, and willing to deliver - all we need is your support to keep on going. As faculty student representative I have in office till coming April, so contact me in case of need! Let's keep in touch :) ![]()

Kenneth Terribile
I am Kenneth Terribile, 1st year electrical Engineering student. It is uncommon that as a first year student one has the role as an executive representative in UESA. My aim as a first year student throughout this year is to connect more together first year students to UESA to what the faculty of engineering has to offer - to things which normally first year students are unaware of. Together with constant support from all of the UESA team, I am committed to continue improving UESA's already established commitments while helping in innovating new activities and projects for the benefit of Engineering Students. I believe that as an association we have to listen to every student's suggestions and ideas so do not hesitate to contact me so we continue to improve our association!

Gabriel Gauci
I am Gabriel Gauci, a 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering Student. I decided to be part and commit myself to this year’s executive committee after I got to know about UESA through last year’s committee. I attended a couple of meetings and helped out wherever I could, thus I felt I could bring in new ideas and hopefully improve on the work of last year’s committee. I strongly believe in a holistic University experience where education is not just the lectures and studying. UESA offers a variety of opportunities thus I felt it is an ideal organization to be a part of. As Secretary General I will strive to keep up the great standard of work related to the secretarial tasks of the organization while working in improving the organizations’ reputation. Finally I will make sure to be available to address any difficulties of my fellow colleagues, related to both the organization and our studies, should they arise.

Reuben Ferrante
My name is Reuben Ferrante, currently a 2nd year student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I am the Treasurer – responsible for the organization’s finances. I decided to join UESA because I wanted to do more than just work and study. UESA gives me the opportunity to organize various activities and have a say in what goes on. We strive to make student life more exciting by organizing various informative yet fun events throughout the year. That said, we invite you to contact us if you have any bright ideas which may be of interest to us students.

Brenda Farrugia
Hi I am Brenda Farrugia currently in my 2nd year of studies in Mechanical Engineering. As the Public Relations Officer of UESA I will be responsible of keeping good relations with other students’ organisations and sponsors. My aim is to make UESA more reachable to students especially engineering students during University life. Although studying is every student’s upmost priority; books and lectures are not the only way to make the most of life at University so if anyone is interested in joining us or would like to know more about UESA please feel free to contact us and we’ll be more than welcome to help J

Nicholas Brincat (Niki)
My name is Niki Brincat, and I am currently a 4th year Industrial Engineering Student. This year the board has entrusted me with the activities post and I promise not to let the engineering students down. Since it is my fourth and final year on this board I intend to leave a mark. One of my aims is to promote an open minded mentality regarding the activities we carry out and I am sure that with the strong sub-committee that we have this year we will be more than capable to pull of another good year. I strongly urge those who have innovative ideas to either pass them along or else join our growing activities sub-committee.

Karl Galea
Hi, my name is Karl Galea, and I am currently a 1st year student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. One of my main aims is to strengthen UESA’s relations with MGPEI, since I have been selected to represent UESA in their committee. MGPEI represent three foreign engineering institutions. Through presentations and site visits they broaden the students’ perspective of what engineering is all about and hence I encourage all engineering students to attend and participate in such activities. Apart from this I also joined UESA to promote the voice of engineering students in whatever the need may be and to enhance the university experience in the best way that I can.

Jack Tranter
Hey! My name is Jack and I’m a 1st year Mechanical Engineering student. I’ve chosen this course as I’ve always been interested in the way things work. I did not want to simply go on without any insight into how everyday objects work; therefore, I chose this course in order to try and learn and, maybe one day make something worthwhile myself. I have joined UESA in order to become involved in the organisation of activities that may always lighten the load of any Engineering student’s coursework.
