The UESA exec was very pleased to have been invited to attend the 50th AGM of one of our main sponsors, MGPEI. The Malta Group of Professional Engineering Institutions is the local network office for the following UK institutions:

  • The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
  • The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
  • The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMech)
The AGM was held at the Radisson Blu in St. Julians on the 27th of October. Since the new members were elected on the board for the coming year, UESA was also granted a fixed representative , Vice President Andrew Fiorini,(replacing him occasionally Andre Micallef, PRO) who will be attending future meetings and take care of all MGPEI related projects. Mr. David Abela , ex-chairman expressed his thanks during the annual report, upon seeing the attendance and participation of young engineers currently studying at the University of Malta and looks forward to see more fresh faces who are interested in becoming active members within this institution.

UESA would like to thank Ms. Johanna Pullicino for the invitation and also everyone present at the meeting for being hospitable and welcoming. :)
